1. Who We Are And Acceptance
Joyfully Invited is operated by OpStudio BV ("we", "us", "our").
- Legal entity and form: OpStudio BV
- Registered address: Schaliënhofstraat 50, 1980 Zemst, Belgium
- Enterprise number (KBO/BCE): 1010.204.916, VAT: BE 1010.204.916
- Country of establishment: Belgium
- Contact: hello@joyfullyinvited.com or the contact form
By creating an account, purchasing an event, joining an event, or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The Service
Joyfully Invited provides hosted event pages, QR-based browser camera access, photo bingo, guest notes, host curation tools, venue wall displays, downloadable photo exports, and public album sharing. The service is intended for private or invited events and is not a replacement for professional photography.
3. Eligibility And Accounts
You must be an adult and legally able to enter into these terms to create an account or purchase an event. Guests sign in through Clerk before joining an event. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under your account.
4. Host Responsibilities
Hosts are responsible for:
- choosing whether Joyfully Invited is appropriate for their event;
- communicating the QR link to guests;
- obtaining any consent required at their venue or event;
- making sure camera use is allowed under event, venue, and applicable legal rules;
- reviewing photos and notes before public sharing;
- keeping public album links only with the intended audience.
If you are buying the service for a company, organisation, school, or other non-household event, contact us before use if your organisation requires a data processing agreement or additional privacy terms.
5. Guest Content And Acceptable Use
Guests may upload photos, tag bingo prompts, request exposure refills, and leave notes. Hosts can hide photos, favorite photos, curate albums, choose which notes appear in a public album, and use approve-first moderation where enabled.
You and your guests must not upload or share content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, sexual involving minors, non-consensual, privacy-invasive, infringing, or otherwise illegal. We may remove content or suspend access where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken.
6. Payments, VAT, And Invoicing
The launch product is a one-time event purchase priced by guest tier, with optional add-ons such as custom URL, extra guest capacity, extended gallery access, or exposure refills when available. Payments are processed through Stripe. Prices, VAT or other applicable taxes, and invoice details are shown at checkout. OpStudio BV is the seller of record for the service.
Guests do not pay to join a host's event. Add-ons are host purchases unless the product surface explicitly says otherwise.
7. Cancellation And Refund Review
Hosts may request self-service cancellation from the control room before the event starts and before guest activity has been created. Guest activity includes completed photos, guest notes, or bingo progress.
When a cancellation is eligible, the service closes guest access and attempts to refund completed base event purchases through Stripe automatically. If the automatic refund cannot be completed, the purchase is marked for manual review and support will handle it through Stripe. Once guest activity has started, the event has been consumed and refunds are not available through self-service tools. Support exceptions may be handled case by case.
EU consumers may have statutory withdrawal rights for distance contracts. Where the law allows those rights to be lost or limited because performance of a dated, time-bound digital service has begun or completed at your request, those limits apply in addition to the cancellation process above. Mandatory consumer rights are not excluded.
8. Intellectual Property And Content Licence
You and your guests keep ownership of the photos and notes created at your event. To operate the service, you grant us a limited licence to host, process, generate thumbnails from, display, download, export, email, and share that content as needed to provide the features you choose. We do not use event photos or notes to train models or for advertising. The Joyfully Invited name, branding, and software remain our property.
9. Availability And Disclaimers
We aim to keep the service available during active events, but no online service can guarantee uninterrupted availability. Hosts should test their QR code, guest sign-in, and camera flow before the event starts. The service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law, without warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost data or photos, or reputational harm. Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the event giving rise to the claim, or fifty euro (EUR 50). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Belgian or EU law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or mandatory consumer rights.
11. Indemnity
You agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages we incur from a third-party claim that results from your misuse of the service or your breach of these terms, including content you or your guests upload that you had no right to share. This does not apply to the extent a claim arises from our own negligence or breach, and it does not affect your mandatory consumer rights.
12. Suspension And Termination
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access to an event or account if these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached, if required by law, or where necessary to protect guests, hosts, or the service. Event cancellations and refunds are handled as described in section 7. Event data is retained and deleted in line with our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence. The courts competent for OpStudio BV's registered seat in Belgium have jurisdiction over disputes, except where mandatory consumer-protection rules allow a consumer to bring or face proceedings elsewhere.
14. Changes And Contact
We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
For support, refund requests, or questions about these terms, email hello@joyfullyinvited.com or use the contact form.
